Struggling But I'm Learning Lessons

Sorry for not writing so much. I've since deactivated my Facebook account. I've decided to focus solely on medicine and just do the best I can. The result of my own ill-preparedness and focus had costed me to struggle in microbiology and neurosciences. This is no one's fault but myself and I am learning I am going to need to change how I study and how I spend my time.

I wont give up. I've struggled hard but I'm not going to quit. I bought the Kaplan Lecture Notes and Videos and I'm going to buy some more stuff like Microcards. I'm trying to pass Behavioral Sciences and Microbiology. It's going to be rough but I have to do it. It's up to me and no one else. I'm at a hotel in Carbondale, Ill.

Luckily I have money from books I've written on Amazon. Things have been rough but I know I am capable of this but it's only my hard work and this is the lesson. It's not about showing anyone it's about results, praying, and working harder than I ever have. I am going to write my feelings here every now and then.

My goal is to use this time to study like I am going to be taking the USMLE step exams. I need to memorize a packet and to be able to recall information clinically so I'm using questions too to put it all together. It wont be easy but I have to kick ass and focus.

See you later.

Kindle Fire Preview

Attached is a Kindle Fire preview of one of the pages in the Orphan to Doctor book.

Price point of book

Last night I did some research on marketing and price point for my book. I decided on a price of $5.99 for the ebook and $14.95 for the hardcover. I can always lower/change prices based on demand or lack thereof later. It is important for a book to have the right price point and for the users to be interested.

ISBN Number

I received my ISBN number today. I'm going to be working hard on the book. So far I have to do more editing for the first chapter but I am hoping to get a foundation down for the book and to continue to work on it.
